You may be wondering where the name Malia Mae Photo came from. I decided to name my small business after my wonderful daughter because everything I do in life is for her. I hope when she is older, she can look back at this small business that she inspired and know how much of a mark she made on my life.

I started photography shortly after becoming a mother. I was deep into PPD, thousands of miles away from all of my family and friends while taking care of a newborn. Photography has changed my life in so any different ways and I can't wait to share it with you.

Well, enough about me! I would love to get to know you and your family. Oahu is an amazing place to be and there is beauty everywhere. We are all so lucky to experience this beautiful island and what better way to cherish these memories than by capturing them in a photo? If you don't think photographs are important, wait until it's all you have left.
